Already contracted, but want to switch?
- Obtain an immediate release from your current FMO
- Not granted immediate release? Obtained delayed release from each carrier

Step 3: Complete AHIP

Most Carriers require you to take this exam if you plan on selling Medicare Advantage and/or Prescription drug plans. While there are a few exceptions, it is highly recommended that you complete the AHIP certification if you plan to sell Medicare plans.

* If you are planning on taking AHIP, please reach out to us as we offer a $50 discount toward your AHIP exam. *

Step 4: Carrier Certifications

Each carrier will require you to take their certification prior to selling their products. Please see below for details.

Step 5: Ready-to-Sell (RTS)

After completing certifications with each carrier, look out for an email stating that you are "ready-to-sell" with that carrier. ONLY after recerving your RTS, you can sell for that carrier.
